About Us
Vredekloof Dental is a general and aesthetic dental practice at the Vredekloof Spar Centre in Brackenfell. We look after families from Vredekloof and the surrounding suburbs, with an emphasis on prevention and on explaining every option clearly before treatment begins. Our on-site laboratory supports much of our restorative work, which helps keep the process close to home.
Your Dentist
BChD (UWC)
Dr Janneke Beck is the general dentist at Vredekloof Dental. She completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery at the University of the Western Cape and now sees patients of all ages, with a special interest in children and in first visits.
For many adults, and for most children, the first appointment sets the tone for every visit that follows. Dr Beck keeps that in mind. She works at a pace that suits the patient and explains what she is about to do before she does it. Questions are welcome at any point. The aim is simple: that you leave understanding your mouth a little better than when you arrived.
Her approach leans strongly towards preventative dentistry. In practice, that means regular check-ups that catch problems early, along with practical advice on brushing and diet that families can use at home. When treatment is needed, she talks through the options and what each one involves, so that decisions about your care are made together.
Our Team
Dental Chair Assistant
Carlyn works alongside Dr Beck in the treatment room, preparing the surgery before each appointment and assisting during procedures. She is often the person who helps you settle into the chair and who talks you through your aftercare once treatment is done.
Receptionist
Jade is usually the first voice you hear when you phone the practice and the first face you see when you walk in. She manages the appointment book and helps patients with medical aid queries before and after treatment.
Business Manager
Wena (pronounced Vena) oversees the day-to-day running of Vredekloof Dental, from accounts to practice administration. If you have a question about billing or payment arrangements, she is the person to speak to.
